Chunky, funky house and twisted disco

February 10, 2017

"I´ll be bringing my fresh dose of chunky, funky house and twisted disco topped with tribal rhythms and classic vocals. See you all on the dancefloor!", says Mr.A, one of the DJ-s of TB's BEARANOID! Live.

Mr.A (Tribal America / Twisted Records) aka Antti was kind enough to tell us what's cooking. Read below!

1. What's bearculture to you?

I guess it´s the celebration of like-minded guys coming together celebrating masculinity, furryness and fun. On a hindsight my approach is through my music, parties and so on, so I am very much looking forward for TB to see the other aspects of this wonderful, multicultural phenomenon that we call bearculture!

2. You have been always busy-bee DJing and producing. what's cooking now?

Even more DJing, producing and promoting! Our crazy little OTSO clubnight just turns 2 years old this month (February) so the birthday plannings are very much on the way…We are also preparing the annual Bears on Board cruise which sets for 7th cruising next July! This year´s theme is “Balearic” - I´m bringing one of the original Space Ibiza residents DJ ELIAS for a visit, really looking forward for it! Production wise I just had a first Billboard #1 hit with my Yoko Ono “Hell in Paradise” remix, I am back in the studio to make more music so expect to hear some new exclusive stuff at TB! You can also catch me on Finland´s Bassoradio on our radioshow “MILK” which airs live every other wednesday night from 10pm-12am.

3. What do you expect of TB and what can bears coming to TB expect you bringing here?

I expect to meet my future husb…oops I meant to say my future husbrothers! Also very much looking forward for playing with my dear disco-friend Hifi Sean! I´ll be bringing my fresh dose of chunky, funky house and twisted disco topped with tribal rhythms and classic vocals. See you all on the dancefloor!

Tallinn Bearty (TB) has set its course on bringing fresh breeze every time we organize or promote something. Every year sees us put focus on one top arts category: visual arts, music or cinematography. Our aim is to power bear brotherhood in a way that will advance equal rights for everyone, in or out of our own community.
